Your Hudson
firefighters volunteer numerous hours supporting and working to improve our
community.
Muscular Dystrophy Association Your firefighters spend 3 weekend days collecting money for the Fill-the-Boot
campaign. The citizens of Hudson and surrounding communities are extremely
generous during these campaigns. We deeply
appreciate the generosity of all who have (and will) donate to help Jerry's
kids.
Your
firefighters sell Popcorn, hotdogs and Soda at Hudson's Annual Old Home Days
celebration at the Hills House grounds in August. All proceeds from these sales
go directly to MDA.

Halloween Glow Necklaces
Every Halloween night, a group of firefighters hop onto their bicycles and head
out into some of Hudson's neighborhoods to hand out glow necklaces to all of the
kids that are out trick-or-treating. These glow necklaces help to keep the
children safe by making them a little more visible during their quest for
Halloween candy.
Christmas Family
Every year, our firefighters gather together to sponsor a family that is in need
of a little Christmas help. The firefighters gather donations and then go
shopping for Christmas gifts for the family as well as providing a complete
Christmas meal with all the fixings. The gifts and food are delivered on
Christmas eve by Santa Claus and members of the Hudson Fire Department.
