Jan 6, 2010 - Hudson - NH - working fire - 14
Timothy Lane - A working fire was struck after arriving crews were told of
children possibly trapped in the building. Captain Dave Morin fell through the
burnt first floor and a MAYDAY was sounded. Firefighter Jeff sands assisted the
captain from the hole. The fire was contained to one room and no occupants were
found in the building
Jan 9, 2010 - Pelham - NH - working fire - 34
Nashua Road - Engine 4 and Car 1 assisted Pelham, Windham and Dracut Mass crews
knock down a fully involved one story woodworking shop.
Jan 13, 2010 - Litchfield - NH - working fire - 23
Circle Drive - A first alarm assignment from Hudson was dispatched to the
location. On arrival, heavy smoke was showing from the single story 2-unit
home. Shortly after it was determined the building was in Litchfield and they
were toned to the scene. Both towns’ crews worked to contain the blaze.
Jan 24, 2010 - Windham - NH - 2 alarm fire - 9 Ryan
Farm Drive - Engine 2 responded to the fire in a large single family home.
Heavy fire was showing from the second floor on arrival of crews.

Derry - NH - 2 alarm house fire - 20 Quaker Drive heavy fire was showing from
the garage of a single family home on arrival of crews. Hudson Engine 2 along
with crews from seven other area towns assisted at the scene.
Feb 7, 2010 - Nashua - NH - 5 alarm fire - 45 Pine
Street – Hudson Ladder 2 and fire companies from eight other surrounding towns
assisted Nashua firefighters battle a fire in a large 3 story block long
apartments over commercial building.
Feb 7, 2010 - Hudson - NH - MVA with Med Flight -
A single vehicle crash into a guard rail caused the driver to be ejected and
suffer severe injury. A Med Flight Helicopter was called to the scene to
transport the patient to a Boston Hospital
Feb 23, 2010 - Hudson - NH - Haz-Mat - 22 Friars
Drive - The S.M.A.R.T. Team was called to the scene to investigate a chemical
odor in the building.
Feb 25, 2010 - Hudson - NH - Wind and Rain Storm -
fire crews responded to 64 calls for service in 18 hours after winds recorded
as high as 64 MPH brought down many trees knocking out power to 57% of the
town. A State of Emergency was declared by Governor Lynch and the National
Guard was called out. Many areas of the state did not get power back for days.
Feb 26, 2010 - Hudson - NH - Working Fire - 4
Wissahickon Drive - Fire sparked by wiring from a generator caused heavy damage
to the single family home. Crews from Pelham and Windham assisted at the
scene.
Apr 13, 2010 - Londonderry - NH - 2 alarm house fire - 13 Kestree Drive -
Engine 2 responded to the scene and battled heavy fire in the 2 1/2 story
single family home.
Apr 23, 2010 - Hudson - NH - 1
alarm fire - 6 Birch Street - First due companies found heavy smoke in a 1
story commercial building. A fire in a
sealing machine was quickly extinguished.
May 4, 2010 - Litchfield - NH - 2 alarm house fire
- 26 Garden Drive - A grease fire on the stove spread to the kitchen and family
room causing heavy damage to the single story split level home.
May 6, 2010 - Litchfield - NH - Brush fire - 16
Century Lane - A Hudson forestry and ambulance and Londonderry engine assisted
Litchfield crews knock down a large brush fire.
May 11, 2010 - Hudson - NH - Abandon dynamite -
Lawrence Road - Area homes were evacuated after a few sticks of dynamite were
found in a barn. The Nashua Bomb Squad was called to remove the sticks.
May 16, 2010 - Hudson - NH - Brush fire - Lockwood
Drive - Crews from Nashua and Litchfield were called to assist battling a large
brush fire that burned over 1 acre.
Jun 15, 2010 - Hudson - NH - Drowning - 27 Adams
Drive - A 30 year old male drown in a backyard pool. On arrival of crews CPR
was in progress but the patient died later in the day.
Jun 21, 2010 - Hudson - NH - 1 alarm house fire -
71 Ferry Street - A signal engine was dispatched to check an electrical problem
and on arrival found heavy smoke in the attic. A first alarm assignment knocked
down fir in the ceiling of the second floor in two apartments with water damage
on both the first and second floors.
Jun 22. 2010 - Hudson - NH - 1 alarms fire - 6
Stuart Street - A person soldering a pipe started a fire in the attic of an
auto body shop. The first due engine knocked the fire down in a short time.
Jul 1, 2010 - Hudson - NH - Diesel fuel spill -
Central Fire Station 15 Library Street - A firefighter filling Engine 4 with
diesel fuel spill 101 gallons on the ground crews worked for 3 hours to clean
it up
Aug 1, 2010 - Derry - NH - 2 alarm fire - 76
Warner Hill Road - Engine 2 assisted battling a large barn and exploding tanks.
Fire crews from Derry, Hudson, Windham, Londonderry, Chester, Auburn,
Hampstead, Litchfield, Sandown, Candia, Manchester, Salem and Plaistow assisted
at the scene.
Aug 30, 2010 - Groton - Mass - 5 alarm brush fire
- Hudson Forestry 2 and OHRV 1 responded to the fire covering 30 acres before
the fire was contained. Smoke from the fire could be seen from Lowell Road in
Hudson. Firefighters 18 surrounding towns responded to the scene.
Sept 28, 2010 - Hudson - NH - 1 alarm kitchen fire
- 5 Spear Road - Crews quickly contained a fire in a kitchen of the home.
Sept 30, 2010 - Hudson - NH - Tree rescue - 18 St
Francis Drive - Crews searched from a missing 15 year-old boy earlier in the
evening. The boy was found just after mid-night 90 feet up a pine tree.
Firefighters a local tree climber and NH Fish and Game officers set up a rope
system to rescue the boy. The rescue took 4 hours to complete.
Oct 1, 2010 - Hudson -
NH - Horse rescue - 24 Speare Road - A large Oak Tree fell on the horse during
a high wind and heavy rain storm. Crews used air bags, chain saws and a tractor
to free the horse.
Oct 4, 2010 - Hudson - NH - 1 alarm kitchen fire -
5 Spear Road - a second kitchen fire in the home within a week caused heavy
damage. Crews quickly had the fire knocked down.
Nov 14. 2010 - Hudson - NH - Working fire - 62
Highland Street - A wood stove in a single family home sparked a fire that
spread across the first floor ceilings and into the second floor walls. A
Nashua ladder assisted at the scene.
Dec 4, 2010 - Hudson - NH - fatal pedestrian
accident - Central Street near Sullivan Road - A male was killed while walking in
the middle of the road and was struck by a vehicle. The patient died on the
scene.
Jan 16, 2011 - Hudson - NH - 1 alarm basement fire - 20 Greeley Street - A
basement fire in the home caused minor damage to the basement with smoke damage
covering the rest of the house. Two occupants were transported to the hospital
for smoke inhalation.
Jan 19, 2011 - Windham - NH - 2 alarm house fire - 1 Bissell Camp Road single story home heavy fire on arrival Engine 2 and car 1 to the fire.
Jan 24, 2011 - Hudson - NH - 13 Parkhurst Drive - Working fire - A problem
with a chimney lead to fire spreading to the basement ceiling and walls of the
first floor of the one story single family home.
Jan 31, 2011 - Hudson - NH - 13 Riverview Street - roof rescue - a man was shoveling the roof of a two story home when he injured his leg. Ladder 2 was used to lower the patient to the ground.
Feb 2, 2011 - Hudson - NH - 50 Flying Rock Road - Working Fire - On arrival of the first due engine, heavy fire and smoke were showing from the basement of a large 2 story single family home. The fire caused smoke and water damage to all floors of the home.
Feb 4, 2011 - Hudson - NH - 5 Water Street - roof rescue - a man shoveling his roof slipped and injured his leg requiring crews to bring him down over ground ladders.
Feb 10, 2011 - Hudson - NH - 9 Wason Road - fuel spill - A truck being carried on a flat bed experienced a leak in a 100 gallon fuel tank. 35 gallons of fuel spilled onto the ground before the tank could be emptied.
Feb 17, 2011 - Hudson - NH - 1 Wall Street - 2 alarm fire - A fire in a large paper hopper filled a large commercial building with heavy smoke and required a second alarm to overhaul the fire. Fire crews from Nashua and Windham assisted at the scene.
Mar 7, 2011 - Hudson - NH - 15 Cross Street - working Fire - A working fire was called for a fire in the attic of a two story home. The fire was not actually a fire but the reflection from the sun was thought to be flames. A Nashua ladder assisted at the scene.
Mar 28, 2011 - Tyngsborough Mass - 19 Norris Road - 3 alarms - A single family home was heavily involved on arrival of first due companies. Engine 4 and Car 2 responded to the scene along with crews from Dracut, Westford and Chelmsford Mass and Nashua NH.
